Green Belt is an independent non-profit organization, registered in Cameroon with its Headquarter in Yaoundé. It is made up of a Board of directors of ten (10) members each bringing specific expertise to the organization’s core areas of activity. And those who will subsequently become members thereof:  The organization shall be governed by the provisions of Law No. 90/53 of 19/12/1990, and its decree of implementation.

OUR VISION

Green Belt's mission is to provide a holistic program towards mental health, peace building and community development so that the psychosocial needs of underprivileged and vulnerable persons can be met.

Our goal is to support projects focused on four core areas:

  • Mental Health

  • Peace Building

  • Education

  • Community and environmental development.

Improve livelihood for vulnerable persons regardless of age, gender, and color for sustainability.

How do we operate?

The organization's mandate is to provide social connection and support through social networks and existing support systems in the communities.

Through this support, the organization aims to:

  1. Create a sustainable and measurable impact;

  2. Develop self-sufficiency within local communities;

  3. Spark an individual and collective local development momentum through agribusiness;

  4. Promote education on Epilepsy;

  5. Counseling.
